10th NY UNDERGROUND FILM FESTIVAL - Call for EntriesThe NY Underground Film Festival, the oldest, biggest and most prominent underground film event, is now seeking entries for its 10th annual event. The 10th NYUFF takes place March 5-11, 2003 in unstoppable downtown New York City. The festival is on the lookout for movies that go beyond all expectations. Films that make you blink and wonder what happened - innovation, experimentation, documentation, animation, revelation and reverberation. Call for Entries for Jubilee 2003The Kansas City Filmmakers Jubilee wants your SHORT films, videos or media works (30 minutes or less). Enter our US / International Open Division - narrative, animation, documentary or experimental subdivisions; or Underground Division. This is a juried festival. Over $85,000 in cash and prizes have been awarded over the last six years. You can submit your application online through Withoutabox (copy & paste this link in your browser - http://www.kcjubilee.org) and pay your entry fee online using PayPal. You may also download a paper copy of the entry form and submit by mail. It’s laid back affair: 12 or so excellent short films, peppered with trips to the bar, a nice long interval to meet and greet the like minded, and (usually) a dj to follow, perfect for culture vultures. There are no specific criteria for film genre or style. Please ensure that you enclose an stamped and self addressed envelope otherwise we can't return your work.
